Full technology & asset acquisition

A documented privacy layer for the AI send boundary.

AETHER is an early-stage browser security project built to reduce accidental disclosure of selected sensitive-data formats before submission to ChatGPT.

  • Primary assetChrome MV3 RC1
  • StructureFull asset acquisition
  • Asking price€19,900 negotiable
361 / 361Unit & audit tests recorded passed
68 / 68Compiled E2E tests recorded passed
11 / 11Payment-card E2E tests recorded passed
103 / 103Internal RC1 file hashes reverified

The problem

AI workflows create a new point of accidental disclosure.

Emails, phone numbers, selected credential formats and financial identifiers can be pasted into an AI conversation without deliberate intent. AETHER adds a local control immediately before submission.

01

Local-first processing

The audited extension runtime performs supported detection locally, without an AETHER backend, external detection request, analytics, telemetry or prompt history.

02

Fail-closed send protection

A sensitive first attempt is stopped, protected text is written into the editor, and a second explicit user action is required. There is no automatic resend.

03

Deliberately bounded coverage

Reviewed formats include email, phone, selected API credentials, 89-country IBAN validation and selected payment-card networks. AETHER is not presented as universal DLP.

Verified technical achievements

Evidence before claims.

The acquisition package preserves the RC1 baseline, checkpoint history, test evidence, privacy review and known limitations. Historical results are time-bounded and should be reproduced by an acquirer before a new release.

01

Hash-verifiable RC1

The canonical 1.0.0 RC1 archive passed integrity review, with all 103 internal file hashes reverified.

02

Compiled-boundary testing

Final evidence records 361/361 unit and audit tests, 68/68 compiled E2E tests and 11/11 payment-card-specific E2E tests passed.

03

Documented security response

A High-severity payment-card false negative initially blocked release, was corrected in a focused change and was followed by regression evidence.

04

Release and diligence trail

Checkpoint archives, rollback snapshots, audit reports, test suites, privacy review and technical-debt records are preserved for qualified diligence.

Proposed transaction perimeter

A full technology and asset acquisition.

Inclusion remains subject to final ownership, licensing and transferability verification.

Proposed assets

  • Extension source and compiled RC1 artifacts
  • Canonical frozen RC1, manifest and checksums
  • Test suites, synthetic fixtures and release evidence
  • Checkpoint archives and rollback snapshots
  • Security, privacy, dependency and technical documentation
  • AETHER name, visual identity and product copy, subject to verification
  • Website, chat design and incomplete C10 continuation snapshot

Explicitly excluded

  • Personal accounts and private conversations
  • API keys, tokens, passwords and recovery codes
  • Browser sessions and payment information
  • Unrelated files or personal data
  • Unverified revenue, customer or user claims
  • Any assumption that external service accounts are transferable

Current development status

RC1 is distinct from prototype work.

The transaction materials separate the approved extension baseline from incomplete or unvalidated web components.

Strategic possibilities

Potential applications for a future owner.

These are opportunity hypotheses, not evidence of existing commercial traction.

Security platforms

Extend a browser control point

Independently validate the existing extension and evaluate integration into broader DLP, endpoint-security or secure-workspace products.

AI governance

Add protection at submission

Explore the local send-boundary approach within AI safety, governance or enterprise enablement workflows.

Software acquirers

Continue a documented baseline

Reproduce the frozen release, complete independent assurance and determine the appropriate distribution and commercialization path.

Transaction

Acquire the complete AETHER technology asset package.

Qualified buyers may request staged access to the approved acquisition overview, technical due-diligence report, asset inventory and controlled technical evidence after buyer screening and appropriate confidentiality arrangements.

For interested acquirers

Provide the acquiring party name, buyer profile, strategic rationale, proposed review timeline and confirmation that the opportunity is understood as a technology/asset acquisition rather than an operating-company acquisition. Contact is handled through the active acquisition listing or an established owner communication channel.
